Current Version is 3.7.5 Download for Pre-Catalina Download for Catalina

When you click "Download", the file will be downloaded to your computer.
After it has downloaded, drag the install package from Downloads to your desktop.
Double-click the package and follow the instructions.

What's New in Version 3.7.5?
Mojave and earlier versions of Mac OS would lock up when notes on the notes corkboard were longer than would fit in the sized of the card and have a scroll bar. Added code to check the size of the text and resize the card if necessary.

No more right-clicking or ctrl-clicking and dragging to drag and drop attachments. Just drag and drop them . Same goes for scene cards when dragging and dropping them in the Litter Box. Or from the Litter Box back to The Board or List View.
You can also now drag scene cards from the List View to the Litter Box.

Importing from Final Draft wasn't allowing for Scene Summaries. Scene Summaries in the Final Draft file are now being added into the scene description when imported.

Added the ability to reset the Serial Number that is used for uploading/retrieving files to/from the iPhone Version 1 queue. The box where the serial number is entered said to enter your version 2 serial number. This was confusing because the iPhone version may have been purchased after Version 3 of the desktop version and the user may have entered their Version 3 serial number into the iPhone. The Version 3 serial number can also be entered into the desktop version to match the serial number entered on the iPhone version.

Use this function under the File menu in case you entered different serial numbers into the iPhone and desktop versions.

What's New in Version 3.1.14?
Two problems with the backup function: It wasn't saving the most recent change in the backup file, after making the backup, new changes wouldn't always get saved. These have been fixed.

What's New in Version 3.1.13?
Added hotkeys for Adding Scene Card, Character, Location, Setup, Payoff, Toggling Views, Full Views/Restore. Check out the menus for details as to what the hotkeys are. The ^ symbol indicates the Ctrl key.
Error when exporting a script to Final Draft if a character name was blank.
After exporting a script to Final Draft, Save the Cat! will attempt to open the resulting file in Final Draft.

What's New in Version 3.1.12?
Added the scene description to the Final Draft 8 Export process as the Title of the scene in Final Draft.
Save the Cat! will now open the script in Final Draft after completing the export, if Final Draft is installed on the computer.
Making a change in the Big Scene View such as the description then clicking on one of the small scene cards at the bottom to change to a different scene without having pressed Enter or Tab in the Big Scene View resulted in the changes not getting saved.
Uploading to the iPhone caused an error under certain circumstances.
An error was happening after exporting a file to Final Draft 8. The file was exporting fine but the error would occur which made it look like it hadn't actually completed.

What's New in Version 3.1.11?
Attempting to add new paragraphs or delete paragraphs in the Script tab of the Big Scene View caused a crash on Leopard.
Made some performance improvements to the editing of the script when adding or deleting paragraphs.

What's New in Version 3.1.9?
Added ability to drag a scene card from the Litter Box and drop it next to the scene card that is open in Big Scene View to put the card back on the Board.
When dragging the Big Scene Card to the Litter Box, the Mini Scene card across the bottom was not being removed.
When moving the cursor over a thumbtack on the Board, it would appear as an I Beam if the card overlapped a text field on another card. It should now appear as an arrow.
